Is there somewhere I can find Industry statistics? Total drivers and maybe a breakdown by company, miles driven, most popular cities that get delivered to. That kind of thing.

I have been driving for over 16 years now and from everything that I have learned what you are asking would be an impossible task. That would require years of study and data collect and that is IF every company was to cooperate. That will not happen.

For one contracts change hands all the time and once sold that alone would skew the numbers and now a different company would be going to that area.

That's simple to answer....whatever company has the lowest bid goes to just about every city in the US and since everyone is low bidding each other What is true this week will be false next week.

Basically the info you are wanting to know is simply not collected and more than likely will never be. Oh it's known to the companies themselves but there will never be a clearinghouse for that type of info.
