I have been considering this industry for several months. I would like to just ask a few questions.

Would it be a good idea to get permit before going to a school or company? Should I get as many endorsements as feasible?

Thank you all for your time.

Kevin, you are on the right track....study the High Road Training Program..get your permit in your state, and all endorsements you can (some won't let you do hazmat until you have your cdl), but you can apply for company schools right now !!! Some schoold require a permit in your state, and some don't...so it may be something you need to ask a recruiter. btw...WELCOME TO TT !!!! we are glad you are here, and we will help you all we can!!!

See Wendy? What did I tell you . . . in a short while you will be so confident of what you DO know that the stuff you DON"T know will just seem like a small investment of time away, if you get my drift . . . it's a good feeling to see the personal growth as it occurs, isn't it? Just keep that attitude and you'll do real well . . .

Kevin, There is so much to know before we get into school. What I have decided for sure is .... 1) I am going to a private truck school. I do not want to be Obligated to anyone. 2) I pretty much have decided its either Prime or Knight 3). LOL well, there isn't a third knowledge yet. I have to pick the brains of these fine folks here. Right Jopa?
