The only thing I see wrong with those pictures is that you are using bungy's to hold things in place. Not allowed, they are not weight rated. Also they could possibly break allowing what they are holding to move/fall from the truck. You might want to re-think that securement option, at least until after the DOT blitz is over with.

Ah yes I forgot about bungee cords not having any weight rating. That would be a problem.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

Thanks guys. I knew bungees had no rating and just have tehem on my cabinet to keep the door from vibrating. They are locked by the handle. Will just take them of I guess.
