Pennsylvania, construction, truck ban on 309 and me on that road. Police, Citation. Charge: Obedience to traffic control signals. Nature of offense: did operate on a restriction road way- Truck ban. 170$ if I pay this, is this going to be on my record or not? Any advice on what to do? Sooo demoralising to get that in a first 10 days :( Thanks in advance

I'd pay it, and also notify your company as well.. They'll find out anyways Im sure... If you dont have the 170 right now, most traffic courts have payment plans, you can probably get payments set up and just buy a book of forever stamps, some envelopes and when you can, get a money order from walmart or truck stop and mail in your payment..

Good luck. Im sure someone else can help out better. This is just what I would do..

Thanks. My problem is not so much paying... but I don't know is it going to my record. Of course, would love to avoid it. So weather to pay it and hope It will not go on my record, or to hire those prepaid legal defense lawers (they ask for 400$, and maybe aditional 300-400 if the case ends up on court)? I would go alone on th court, but no way I can fix to be there on time...

I would pay that ticket, I don't think thats a major violation but I could be wrong. Now if it was a speeding ticket, Hell Yes! Fight that sucka.. haha

Yes pay it. Can say you were not on the road so would be a waste of time trying to fight it. Hopefully 6 of know your company policy and report it within 24 hours.

FYI any and all tickets must be reported ASAP to your company.

Hey man, I got almost the same ticket in my first month. Bypassing a traffic control device in New York. My fine was 190. I'm not sure if it's on my record yet but my company was completely cool with it. I'm sure you'll be just fine. I know I am

It's not a moving violation so you should be just fine. Don't sweat it. It's the moving violations that hurt ya. It's just a restricted road ticket.

Thanks man, I guess no good can come from too much worry. I paid it and I sent them a small note, hope it will be enough:) Stay safe
