I found the spray aerosol product Ozone to be particularly effective at eliminating odor. As others have also suggested, you'll also want to wipe down the entire interior as well. The truck I was first assigned smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and dirty feet...not good at all! I found the combination of scrubbing out the entire interior with warm Pine Sol water and spraying large amounts of Ozone (or maybe it's Ozium, one or the other...) was pretty effective at getting rid of most of the odor. You also may want to spray lots of Febreze on the seats if it doesn't aggravate your asthma, as the cushions end up catching a lot of odor as well.

I am a smoker....and I don't smoke in my house, but I do, on occasion smoke in my car...which I hate, cuz it smells in there worse than anywhere. So....I take a nylon stocking, and put charcoal briquettes (the ones with nothing added to them) in a pie pan and slide it under the passenger seat. If I want a nice smell...I ad some dryer sheets...But you would never know that I smoke in my car...and you never smelled smoke in our truck either...and TSB was a 3 pack a day smoker.... Its a cheap fix, east to find, ...
