If a recent grad of a tech school holds his states CDL and attends Swift orientation, do they get paid for orientation? Or do they get paid once they go out with a trainer?
Once you start with a trainer, you will start to get paid.... Swift pays on Tuesdays if I remember correctly, and its weekly...
When I went to Swifts Orientation, Everyone got hired (pending drug screen) on the 3rd day. The first 2 days, is paperwork, drug test, more paperwork, learn about company, log book.. 3rd day you get your hired paperwork, driver code, Fuel card (which is also your pay card that swift will pay your checks too.), and you'll get your trainer too.
Some of this may have changed as Its been 2 yrs since I went through orientation with them, a newer driver could tell you more, but thats about it...
