I Did It, I Got My CDL

I did it. I got my CDL Friday. I am so happy its hard to sit still. dancing-banana.gifdancing-banana.gif lol I highly recommend Rout 66. They was so great. They didnt give up on me even when I didnt think I could do it. I'm now waiting for the paper work to get done then I will be off to Gary, Indiana to join up with May.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Way To Go, Minnie Mouse! Congratulations! I imagine it's gotta be an awesome feeling! I know I can't wait to get started with school. I won't be starting until Oct/Nov, and it can't get here fast enough.

I've been too busy lately and I missed this when you originally posted it. Glad to hear you are progressing right along, and personally I think May is a great choice. Hope you do real well.
