Jopa, good luck with your tnt phase.. I'll be starting mine next week.. only I need 15k ..
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.
Ahhhhhhh the fun of TNT....Your going to love it and think of all the stories you'll have to tell us when you're finished plus you'll feel like you know every bump in the road. Stay safe have fun and don't buy a bike....!

Well, I've had a few days off and I've enjoyed getting re-connected with this site and harassing some old friends and insulting new ones. HOWEVER, my second training phases awaits me (the TNT portion of the Prime, Inc. experience where I have to accumulate 40,000 mile of team driving with my trainer). So, I am taking the Amtrak from Reno to Salt Lake City where Prime has a terminal and meeting up with my trainer. I really don't have a computer available on the road so you are gonna miss my rapier like sharp wit and my vast store of knowledge - or (more accurately) my smart-**s attitude and me making guesses at the answers. In any case, just remember that this is a great site (even without my contributions for 2 months) and I highly recommend anyone new to ASK EVERY QUESTION that comes to mind. No one here bites (at least they can't get at you over the internet if they do). And remember there are no dumb questions (actually, there are lots of dumb questions but no one here will insult you if you ask one). It is amazing how a couple of weeks lurking here will increase your knowledge exponentially (you might even attain the lofty place I have found my self - which means you might become as good as me at bulls***ing) . . . does that word have one or two "t's"?? In any case, like Nixon said when he lost the gubernatorial race in California in 1962 (see? I told you I was an old fart) "You won't have Nixon to kick around anymore." Just substitute "Jopa" for Nixon and you get the idea. I'll check on ya when I can to make sure everything is going right.

Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
