It just means you will have plenty of time to become familiar with everything on the High Road Training Program.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

the waiting is gonna drive me nuts...

Here's your chance to practice doing something that you may not like very much, but it is sure to happen in this career. I've been waiting for two hours so far today, and it will probably be another two to three hours just to get two tires replaced on a pre-loaded trailer I picked up yesterday. I took a big chance with the load and got it delivered to it's destination, but after seeing the photographs I sent in to breakdown, they had me go straight to a Love's repair center to get them replaced. I'm supposed to be picking up my next load, but the big fat fella doing the tires at this location is stuck on one speed, and that is SLOW!
