Trucking In Europe

hey everybody, new to the site and new to researching this industry, but I was wondering if european trucking jobs are all in all good. What are the pros and cons and differences of trucking in Europe versus trucking in America? I would love the opportunity to travel europe in a truck.

would it be safe to get some experience trucking in america first, then moving on? I think I have more questions, but cant think of them right now.

No doubt, the standards would be higher and you'd have to pass their testing and qualifications.

Driving over there is very different ... ...but loads of fun, (especially Germany).

How well do they pay compared to the US? What are your likes/dislikes about the trucks?

You're competing with Poles, Hungarians, Czechs, so wages are dropping in the west like Germany, France, UK in order to stay competitive. Generally local jobs pay more since they're usually local residents with local costs, while I hear cross border reight is mostly dominated now by the easteners with lower living costs and hence happier with lower wages.

With the EU now looking to include Ukraine there will be other changes still.
