Nice to hear! Can't beat being home. You've have hit the ground running, keep it up.
Steve, its good to hear that you have found the benefits of home time, and how to make it the best it can be for you, your wife, and your kiddlins...they all are important, and need to be reassured that they are an important part of your life, both on the road, and at home. And the cooler is a great thing, and you will really enjoy a little bigger one...I can't stand to drink room temp iced tea...they call it ICED tea for a reason,,,lol Stay safe and sane..well...safe anyway.

My first trip out I had a total of 4805 miles for 11days of driving. I was out 12 which one day was a 34reset. I got home Saturday afternoon and I leave out again in the AM(wed).
I've been able to RECONNECT with my awesome wife and each of my children. Was able to get some chores done and RECHARGE with some napping and extra sleep. I'm now RESUPPLIED with some healthy snacks and a little plug in cooler and I do mean little it might hold six cans of coke. I have a friend who has a larger one for me so before I spend the money I'll just get by with what I have.
One of the highlights of the my first trip was making a drop at the train yards on the s. side of Chicago, that was an experience that you won't get with most customers. After making the drop I had about 40mins left on the clock. I was able to make it over to Cabela's there on I80 for the night. Even though there are signs that say you can't park from 11pm-7am, I talked to the manager and that "rule" is not enforced, there only problem is there is no facilities.
