Yes, bring the paperwork. It probably won't show up on a urinalysis if you haven't taken the pain medicine in the 48 hours prior to the urinalysis, but probably would show up on a hair follicle test.
No, you won't get declined as long as the prescriptions were written for you and you have the proof. You were prescribed these medications for an indicated (needed) reason. You're good to go. Just show them the paperwork, let them copy it, if they want. Be upfront and there won't be a problem. There will be a section on the UA form that asks if you've taken any medication recently and that's where you list the names, dosages, purpose, etc.
It's the one test you don't have to study for!

Mountain Girl is right on. The only thing you might have to look out for is a waiting period. If you were given strong meds they might require you to wait 30 days before getting behind the wheel of a big rig to ensure it's completely out of your system. I really don't know, but it's possible.
Otherwise, as long as you have the prescription you're fine. Bring every piece of paperwork related to the procedure that you have. Even the trip to the dentist itself. Can't hurt. The more proof, the better. Because every recreational pain med user "just had wisdom teeth pulled" (wink, wink) a week ago, ya know what I mean? These companies hear these excuses every day. Show em the paperwork and you're good to go.

I had two wisdom teeth pulled the same day about a week ago. I was put to sleep for the surgery and they gave me strong pain meds. Should I bring the prescription and the appointment paperwork to the drug screening or orientation so everything's clear? Will it be something that would test positive or decline me? Thank you so much you guys! and gals!
