Hi, I'm Tiffany. I'm signed up to start school at cr england but I've heard a lot of bad about them and only have a few days to make this life changing desicion. Any advice?? Also Super Scared of missing my daughters graduation and shipping to boot camp for the marines at the end of this school year. Can I ask for these things to be put in my contract??? Will I get my hazmats at this school??? I'm scared to ask my recruiter because iI know she will not state negatives about her company and I have been told they will tell you what you want to hear... Help please!!!!

Did you check out Roehl Transport? I am starting school there in 2 weeks and they seem to have more options available to drivers when it come to home life. I don't know anything about CR England. Maybe post on the general discussion board and someone there can give you more info. Best of luck to you Tiffany!

Recruiters will tell you anything it takes to get you to sign up....period. When you say school year...do you mean like the end of school in May ?? If so, after you get thru school, get thru running with your trainer, and get your own truck you tell them you want "X" days off in May, and why....and personally, if they don't head you that way in time to make your special event...park that truck in the closest terminal , pack your stuff up, ship it home, and grab a greyhound home. There are just some things that you can't afford to miss, as a parent.... IMHO...you should do more research on a school to train at...they are far from my favorite. My brother trained there and had a very bad time.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
