So, I went up to NETTTS and met with the financial aid office, and worked everything out, and I only have $800 that is not covered by grants or loans, which is great. So I will be starting there weekend classes with 1 weeknight class for the next 22 weeks....

I am definatley getting excited, and gong through the high road, with a couple hiccups because of me not reading the question thoraly enough, nd when I read the correct answer I have a "Doh" face palm moment....lol....

I will try and keep a weekly update going about my progress.... And I would like to say thank you to Brett and his team for having such a great site, and for everyone else on here for giving such good, unbiased opinions.....

Chris...

One night a week for 22 weeks..

Its 10 hours a day, 2 days a week and 1 night a week for a total of 540 hours of classroom and aproximatly 60 hours of homework and takehome exams.... plus this class has the oportunity for financial aid like pell grants and student loans for people like me who need that help with paying for it....

I toured the NETTS facility in Somers, CT and it seems like they have their stuff together, and train the students on all types of trucks that require a CDL , and their equipment appears to be very well maintained, and the oldest trucks appear t be about 5 years old, so the equipment and seems like whats out on the road now....

I want to thank everyone for their supprt and willingness to answer questions....

If anyone is going through central CT, hit me up here.... The TA in Southington CT is only about 10 minuites frommy house and would like to put faces to names over a cup of coffee or a bite to eat........
