It is the same "standard" the State of FL uses on your CDL test. Even though in real life going through a Yellow isn't bad, it'll fail you on the driving portion of your test.
We were basically told, drive about 10mph slower than you usually would so you can make stops like that without locking up your brakes.

Everyone I have talked to said it was BSC the tester said I should been down shifting incase the light changed... it was a 55mph road.
