Well I was given a rental car, have to drive over to Enfield CT and recover a 2012 KenworthT660, truck is located at the dealership,dealer is only open from 6am to noon.....hoping truck is road worthy
I was at that same Tropicana Plant day before yesterday, how do you like the way the toll road all dumps into the single lane bridge...kind of rough for us newbie's

My training has officially ended! I'm sitting in Allentown PA, in the morning I will get my truck assigned......YEAH!!
My trainer had me pull a load into Tropicana in Jersey City.....quite the experience for a trainee to drive that segment through New Jersey looking at the NYC skyline......fortunately, it was about 9:00am and traffic wasn't terrible.....but fairly congested. After I get my door assigned, back it in, he says " congratulation's, you just passed your skills test, you are now a qualified driver with Werner"
Man what a feeling......guess I made it
One thing I would really like to STRESS to all of you that are where I was about 6 weeks ago.....your training will be a very trying time, there is a lot of things to digest....do NOT get discouraged, know that it will all be worth it when your done, and look beyond the day to day challenges.
