I am running out of my 14. If i go right from drive to sb can i get back my drive hours after 8 hours or is it whats left of the 14 which would be none? Ty

Unfortunately, You will only get back enough drive time to run out the rest of your 14. So, you will have to take a ten to get reset for the day. That is one thing a lot of us really hate about the HOS rules. That is why you will hear " wait as long as you can before you start the 14 clock". Once it starts, It doesn't stop.

Unfortunately, You will only get back enough drive time to run out the rest of your 14. So, you will have to take a ten to get reset for the day. That may still work. I drove till 9pm had 3 hours left on my 14. Went straight to sb. Then can i drive 3 more hours at 5am?

Yep, as long as you also still have the 3 left off the eleven.
