Have a question for any Prime student or someone with knowledge. Is the Campus Inn where I will be staying and if so I believe I read that Prime only puts two people to a room. Is it possible to ask for a single room and pay the difference in cost?

Yes you will be put up at the campus inn during orientation and the time you get your instructor. Prime has been extremely busy since the 1st with new students. The single rooms are given to instructors and drivers upgrading there status first. You can ask for a single but New students are last on the list. Upgrading to a single is 26.00 a night

May I ask one more question. Travel to school is by bus. Can I fly in and if so will they pick me up at the airport?

Yes prime will let you change your transportation method but I would verify it with your recruiter before. They usually pay you the cost of the greyhound ticket. If the plane was 350 and the greyhound was 180 you would pay the difference. Prime has a shuttle that will pick you up but you will need to tell them before you arrive since it's not a common stop.

What about POV? When I jump in, I'm gonna be HOMELESS (giving up my place), so I was kinda planning on driving up.

Also kinda hoping to leave the car at the terminal while out training.

Rick

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Same thing they will reimburse you the cost of the greyhound ticket for the price of gas so save your receipts and you should be able to park at the terminal...
