I favor taking them whenever I do laundry, that is to say upon each change of season.

My brother was teasing me about this tonight...said there would be times when I probably wouldn't get a shower for 5 days. I shudder at that prospect....

Dry shampoo, good deodorant, and a few wash cloths to get wet and rub yourself down with in between showers.

Not a bad idea. I keep my head shaved due to my unruly curls (occasionally I'll grow it out, but usually there's a man involved who wants it long- it'll probably be shaved for awhile) I was thinking of creating this awesome little bird bath kit so I'll make sure to pop extra washcloths in there. Thanks Jessica :)

I hate truck stops so I try to spring for a hotel 2 nights a week. This covers showers 4 out of 7 days as you can shower both the day you check in and the day you check out. This works well in theory except that I'm flatbed and some times after loading or unloading a shower is necessary even if it isn't a hotel day.

after one week of training with mcelroy(flatbed) a shower right after i have tarped or a least helped tarped a load is needed, messing with wet, old, and dirty tarps really gets the arms black and sometime the face due to wiping sweat of my face
