I have a feeling, Brian, that drivers don't want to deal with trailer problems if they can avoid it. Too much time lost, and they don't get paid for it. A couple of hours later, and it's someone else's problem.
Recently I had a 2015 trailer that caused the trailer ABS light to come on. I sent a message to the OnRoad department, never heard back.
I completely understand, they had to replace the ruptured tire the other was okay.
Luck, either it's with you or stepping on your neck
Didn't fix the air leak looks as if they are replacing the air chamber on the trailer ohh brother
1 new tire, 3 new air chambers, a trip back to the service center to set the gasket on straight on one of the chambers and now my qualcomm doesn't work this is a real bad day. Ohh and I only drove 76 miles on my 14
And this too shall pass... hang in there!
I'm sitting in a truck stop (Corpus Christie - the place is so old, Hitch**** could've made a Psycho 2 here!). I get a full reset before I get any recap hours.
My point is, sometimes you roll, sometimes you sit, and it's mostly out of your hands,
The censor program won't let me say the famous movie director's name! Rhymes with "itch-rock"!
The trailer that me and my trainer picked up is loaded at 43000 and some change pounds and whoever had this trailer last must of hit something really hard cuz the cross beams are bent and the trailer alignment is off bad and pulling to the right and half the trailer skirt is ripped off... Pain in the butt let me tell ya.....

Okay this is the third trailer in a row with nails in the tires. I swear I have a magnet for them. While doing the pre trip I noticed one on this trailer, then I looked around to the right Side and it has a rupture in the sidewall! Did a air brake check and low and behold a small air leak somewhere. So here I sit for the third trip in a row at a TA for at least 3 hours. Talk about a trifecta
