Awesome, yeah I've been studying the high road program for about a week now I'm almost through it. I"m going to go through it another time and probably take a million practice tests. It is a pretty thorough program, I'm very happy I found it and that someone took the time to put it together.

I went through the swift academy in January. Currently running for the walmart account out of Pottsville pa if you can go to a school I would seriously reccomend it. Your checks will not be very large when you start off and they will rock you for 130 weekly. Gets kind of hard paying bills n eating out here. Oh n the academy is very Darwinian like pass or go home the recruiter won't tell you this. Oh n u won't make more then maybe 300 a week once ur out with your mentor. N bring money to school to buy food its not provided n most places the food is awful.

I've decided against the central refrigerated program because of comments and because Prime is more suited to what I am looking for. Prime gives you more experience before you get your own truck & they have a pet policy. It's very important to me that I can have a pet with me. It sounds like it would get old real quick to be on the road without a friend. Bring a dog along and it would probably change my outlook completely.

The Prime trucking school just looks like a better fit for what I am looking for. I'm sure it is just as much of a pass or leave kind of situation as the others but they also give you about a week to make your mind up once you are out with a trainer. I imagine learning on the move is more suited to who I am as well.

Thank you for the advice.

If you have an android phone you can get the TT app and take practice tests to your hearts content
