Just wanted to see what you all are doing for a battery backup for your CPAP. I'm looking for an affordable, reliable option.

CPAP:

Constant Positive Airway Pressure

CPAP is a breathing assist device which is worn over the mouth or nose. It provides nighttime relief for individuals who suffer from Sleep Apnea.

Don't have a battery backup for mine.... Just the inverter in the truck that I plug it in to... Actually I now have a 12-volt cord for the CPAP I can use.

There would be far fewer drivers if that held them back

I got mine from "The CPAP Shop". http://www.thecpapshop.com/

It only works for most Resperonics models, not all of them. I can't be sure if they'll have one that will work for your machine, make sure you read that it does before you order anything. If not, you'll have to get an inverter installed in your truck (the company should do it for you) so that you'll have a place to plug your CPAP machine in.

Swift does install an inverter for me if I ask them to, but sometimes when I'm assigned a new truck I don't want to wait around for the few hours that it takes the shop to do that so I went a bought the 12 volt cord so I don't have to worry about it.

I'll probably eventually buy a backup battery too though, in case I ever want to go camping. :)
