Why are the passenger and school bus endorsements missing?

I know these people would be considered *Class B* drivers but these people struggle trying to pass the test and need help too. I mean seriously, these bus drivers carry the most precious of cargo a human life, and they provide a meaningful function to millions of people that would have no other form of transportation.

I recommended truckingtruth.com for the general knowledge and air brake pieces but there are no passenger or school bus sections and these people need to practice those tests as well.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

That's funny cause there is a section in the High Road study guide with big tall letters that says "Transporting Passengers"

Yeah I just noticed that... School Bus is actually a separate section in the NJ CDL manual and that's what i was looking for. Passenger School Bus

Not Transporting Passengers Safely with School Bus being on the last page. LOL

Oops :)

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

A little under a year brother! I am currently a school bus driver. I can't wait to upgrade to that Class A and start rolling with the big boys!
