The school I will be attending starting on 8/10 is: http://www.mikesdrivingschoolnj.com/ and they aren't listed on this site.

I get along with the owner and the trainers. They don't have to sell me on anything, they are setting me up nicely, their students all like the school.

Both the Safety Supervisor and Yard Manager at the bus company I work for vouch for these guys too. The company I work for provides their own training for Class B licenses so in essence they are a competitor to Mike's so that says something in my book.

Thank you everyone! I am quite excited over everything, I have my permit in hand and am schedule for HazMat & TWIC on the 3rd of August. As I stated school starts on the 10th.

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
