I don't think your trucking dreams are shattered. This definitely hurts but you can certainly rebound.
First of all, there are so many companies out there that hire inexperienced drivers. If this company doesn't want you anymore then you have many other options.
I recommend you take a look at the Trucking Companies and read about them a bit. Learning How To Choose A Company is very important.
After you've done a bit of research be sure to Apply For Truck Driving Jobs. That link will allow you to apply to all the trucking companies with just a single application. It will save you tons of time!
Be honest about your accident. Eventually someone will take a chance on you and when they do jump at the opportunity!
But before you depart to your company be sure to go through our High Road Training Program and educate yourself on the Company-Sponsored Training programs.
Good luck champ!
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.
The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.
If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.
Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

hi all, first time posting.... im worried i might not be able to get into trucking and would love someone with more experience to let me know what might happen. i was on the phone with my recruiter and got accepted to a trucking school sponsored by a company, ten minutes later i tap a guy in front of me in bumper to bumper traffic and cops come and file a report. anyway i tell my recruiter and he says most likely i will not be able to go due to me being at fault and it nit being 2 years old. are my trucking dreams done or should i have hope?
