I'm actually talking with a good friend about possibly teaming after our first year. We're most likely starting in different companies. I am not sure I'd like a stranger though and I would hate teaming with another woman. But, nice money, company if you want it, backing help if you need it. It'd be like having a roommate to share your walk in closet with.

I'm curious about anyone's perspective that is currently teaming with US express, the good, the bad etc. I ask this question fully understanding the general (negative) consensus here (at least from what I've read) regarding teaming. I know it has its drawbacks. The reality is that I've spent many years in a team environment in another industry and am at least willing to explore the possibility here. I feel like with the right partner who is eager, hardworking, open to compromise and is reasonable that keeping the truck moving with a positive get-it-done attitude would be an environment I'd appreciate and enjoy. I am fully open to the idea that ultimately I will find myself wrong about the concept. Again, I've heard and read the negativity about teaming from those not currently doing so. My interest is in the experience of those currently teaming with US express and/or perhaps Schneider. Thanks.

Hi Frito, Are you with Averitt? Was trying to find some info. If you wish pm me.
