That's great JuiceBox, very glad to hear the training is going so well. When a company really follows through on the little things, it sure does instill a strong sense of appreciation and loyalty, doesn't it? And by the way, feel free to change your status, it doesn't sound like you're "considering a career" anymore. :)
Hey thanks! I totally forgot about that status thing.

I'll start with this, I am thoroughly impressed by this company. The professionalism and safety oriented load securement is fantastic. I have learned so much over the last week and it is very overwhelming, I can't wait to get out there with my trainer and learn some more. Everything has been very serious during orientation, especially as people mysteriously disappear throughout the class however, that has not held us back from pure enjoyment through hard work and laughter. It is a great family feel here and I'm super excited to start making myself and this company some moola. As you know it is thanksgiving weekend and trainers are hard to come by so Melton is paying for rental vehicles for everybody that is in their major freight lanes so they can be home for the holiday. Trainers will pick us up at the nearest truck stop or terminal. What a great gesture from a great company. Got to meet the top 3 of the company and let me tell you, Bob Peterson is a down to earth guy. It has been refreshing to this point knowing that i made the right choice going with melton. That isn't to say that any other company isn't just as good but i truly feel like a part of a team here. I am both humble and confident going into my training and ready to soak up all of the wisdom from an experienced driver. Happy early thanksgiving to all!
