Just got fired not even 3 months in

"Assuming your in an automatic, starting out at 45, with your Jake on, it's not possible. If you're 3 months in. That means you went down hills in training and learned how to use your gears and Jake. I'm dumbfounded on how that happens?"

Some of the mega carriers have dedicated Florida routes for training. Most of Florida is flat. 45 with jakes on getting up to 79 is possible in some trucks when your on cruise. And the automatics you have to tap the breaks to engage the jake while im cruise. that being said if you go from 45 to 89 and now its 79 with jakes on either you werent tapping the break to engage the Jakes, you had it on the wrong level or you need to get the Jake break looked at.

To answer your question yes a company will hire you. you will probably have to go out with a trainer.

Why no restrooms in semi-truck sleeper cabs?

Are looking to drive as career or use it as a Vacation. Now i can understand not choosing a company b/c it uses that optimized idle ds rather than APUs or not ever allowing pc. Holy crap man this is the 3rd most dangerous job. The trucks have come along way. My pawpaw had get a hotel room every night because his company wanted him to use a board to sleep on in the single cab because they didn't have sleepers but he was 6ft 4.

I have a fridge APU and a 1500 watt inverted that the company pits in the truck so i can cook watch tv and play super Nintendo. I feel blessed and spoiled at the same time. You might want to think and pray about why you want to get into this lifestyle.

So i went back to freymiller last week. One of the drivers in class with me was planning on teaming with his wife after she got off her trainers truck. Well his drug did not come in when the rest of ours did. He admitted he took cbd for a tooth ache. Found out to he failed the oral drug test. This is going to be on his clearing house for a good while.

New upcoming drivers. Your opinion of cbds does not matter in the eyes of fmsca. If they say no dont do it

Trucker Path

No. If you want an app for GPS, try Hammer Lane, or Copilot.

Yes it can. i use all the time. Gets right up to the truck entrance.

What makes local truck driving so appealing to drivers VS Over the road?

I just posted on a new thread on why i wanna go local. Im going through a divorce and i am paying a full months rent to stay there 4 days out of that month just to see my boys. I dont want to miss them growing up like my pawpaw did with my dad.
