So I am trying to get in on driving CMV. I have type 2 diabetes and take insulin. I have read and reviewed the new DOT requirements and working with my Dr., who said he would approve the paperwork. I was wondering if anyone has been through this and could tell me how companies view this and can I get hired if I meet those requirements?
Howdy, Richard and welcome to the Trucking Truth forum!
This, pretty much explains it:
Also, one of our 'at times' members, Marc Lee, had four companies that hired him! Simple . . . Look at the 'threads by user name' on here, and he's mentioned it OFTEN! Pretty sure, a good ole' SPE certificate was all that was needed.
Wish you well; and look at this above info! Stop back.
