...new to me anyway. 2015 Pete 587 with 150k miles that I'm taking for a shakedown cruise to Texas tomorrow. I'm pretty happy about it now. We'll see what kind of problems it has soon enough.

When it comes to flatbed, I prefer either a Pete or a KW because of the storage configuration and the what seems to me more space inside the sleeper for driver comfort. But that's just me. Very nice looking truck. If you ever get to the Norfolk VA area, be sure to let me know.

Thanks! I really like its looks too. Payment is the same as the Freightliner, half as many miles on it, but more expensive to fix when things go wrong. I am hopeful that it will be relatively trouble free! The maintenance records didn't raise any red flags, but you just never know till you drive it a while.

That's actually why I got it. I went through the instructor course at Prime last week and I wanted more room for all the equipment I've accumulated and also for having another person on the truck.

I've only been sort of near the Hampton Roads once in the truck, and that load had no time on it, but if I get over that way, I'll definitely look you up! Congrats on the successful move by the way. That's a lot of work.

I love those Petes. I ran into a flatbeder for prime at the ta, we were both getting pm's done. He let me look inside the cab and that's it, I want one. Although, I heard that prime will also have volvos next year.

Being it's a 2015 and low on miles, you should have plenty of warranty left so you won't be out of pocket as much as you think. In regards to the Volvos, good trucks, good power, pull nice but a bit short of room inside depending on which model they chose to go with. If it's the 630 or 670, the shorter wheelbase base for a little rougher ride too but all in all, they're a solid truck.

It would either be the 670 or 780. They may run the 630 for solo company drivers, but it's all a guess at this point
