Absolutely gorgeous! Floating is going way better. The 50-55 mph is still a little tricky for me to maintain but I'm getting the hang of it. Oh and how to pull hills without losing all momentum. When running rpms and shifting at the speeds my trainer says it's all good. Remembering to do it and the timing (2 second delay makes a huge difference) is something that'll take practice. Headed to do my 2 of my 8/2 split. Love running at night but pulling in somewhere in the wee hours of the morning and then trying to sleep and stay asleep when the sun comes up only a few hours after I first lie down is tricky - practice makes...better? Friday I got to experience 680 and 205 during rush hour. Horrifying for the first few miles. Stalled three times - once, so hard I set off the traction control sensor thing. Oops. Sorry if any of you guys were out there behind me. Was pulled into a weigh station on top of it all. Couldn't get the damn thing downshifted right and almost coasted the entire off ramp. I about puked from anxiety. Honestly though, I learned a lot from that 3 hrs and 67 miles. Slowly improving, but at least it's improvement. Apologies for any typos.

Ps: I'll try to remember to post in my Little Syster Diaries on the other forum. Now for sleep....

Any of the mountain passes out west are really nice views.

I grew up in WA state just up the river from where I-5 crosses the Cowlitz River (just north of exit 57), look to the east as you cross the river & you will see the farm I grew up on (right if traveling north, left if going south). Right where the river turns back north is where the farm is.

Love that part of the country. Now if I can just convince my wife to move back there, I would be there in the blink of an eye.
