I'm with crst and started with them in march and my license was suspended from 2000 to 2008 and 2010 to 2012 and I didn't have any problems... Not really sure what to say to help you...
Tell CRST to send you a copy of your dmv record showing your suspension.
For anyone else in FL you can check your record here - https://services.flhsmv.gov/DLCheck/

Operating While Intoxicated
A few questions:
1) Was your license suspended?
2) Why would they send you home to figure "it" out if there was no "it" to figure out? What were they seeing on your record?
3) How much was the bill for since you were only there was two days?
4) Why didn't you return to CRST after you had your license straightened out?
5) You said their application asks about your past 1 year driving record. Nobody asks about 1 year. They all require at least 3 years driving record. Was that a typo?
I don't think they use Hawkeye school anymore.. When I was there it was Nada and Kirkwood and waterloo... I heard they stopped using waterloo now...

CRST did a phone interview on a Wednesday. They called me back later that day to inform me they would be paying my bus fare to get to training from Florida to Iowa, they also stated they paid for hotel stay while in training and included free lunch & breakfast but dinner was my obligation. I was also told to packs 2 wks worth of clothing because they were sending me straight out on road after training instead of sending me back home. I arrive Sunday to find greyhound bus has lost the luggage with my clothes. I paid for a taxi to get me to the hotel. Thehotel was overbooked with CRST students & sent the rest of us down the road to another motel. Luckily the other hotel was nice enough to let us stay a few nights & informed us there would be a possibility there would be no available rooms if things didn't change before our time was up. And they would bill CRST for us being there because that wasn't the first time it had happened. Still trying to keep a positive attitude I made it to class that Monday and also informed CRST about the hotel issues. I also made it to class Tuesday. I was told to come to class at 2 pm Wednesday but instead got a phone call from CRST saying they were sending me home & they gave me a confirmation number for a bus ticket back to Florida. CRST told me my license had been suspended for 5 yrs & politely explained I had just finished driving as a school bus driver for the school year that had just ended the month before. Before I left Florida I went to the DMV , holding up the line with CRST on speaker phone because they were asking for things I knew nothing about and Dmv said CRST would have to call the Florida main DMV because everything was clear & they were limited in certain areas. Before ending the call CRST rep confirmed everything was ok. Now I don't understand why 2 days of class CRST sends me home for something they say they couldn't understand on my DMV record. I asked wasn't all that supposed to be taken care of before I came all the way from Florida to Iowa? CRST told me to return to Florida to strengthen it out then call them back. So upon returning back to Florida I get a Bill from the school saying I owe them money because I didn't finish the cdl class & that CRST only pays for your schooling if they hire you on. I have been going back and forth between CRST in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the Hawkeye College about the issue. Hawkeye says contact CRST and CRST says contact Hawkeye community college. Needless to say I am back in Florida driving school bus, renewed my Dot at the beginning of this month & we still can't figure out how CRST is saying my license is suspended & left me with a bill. The online application asks about your past 1 year driving history. Can someone assist me with legal matters cause I have yet to hear anything from CRST to resolve the financial issue.
