Phox watched YouTube:
Wellllll.... sometimes they can be a pain. I was watching a video on youtube and this one guy I sub to failed because of 2 things, one of them not even his responsibility, something his company's mechanics are supposed to keep tabs on and fix I guess... they didn't fine him but still... not something he could control either.
Three guesses who drove the truck on a public road?
(First two answers don't count.)
That's how the State Trooper will look at it. True, the company may have some responsibility, but the Officer is dealing with the Driver.
The "barn" is no bueno... No, no buenos.
Here's a fascinating video about a Florida State Trooper talking about Which stations & inspections. Michael S. posted this about 6 months ago.

I am glad for DOT though... I can only imagine how bad it would be out there if trucks did not get inspected... it would be a very scary world out there to drive in.
DOT:
Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
