International Pro Star Or Freightliner Cascadia?

Oddly enough, I've seen a couple of those new Western Stars in CR England's fleet. It's a good looking truck but I'm still more of a classic look type of guy, gimme a 379 Pete, KW W9 or Freightliner Classic anytime. Oh, the new Freightliner Coronado is nice too. I did talk with a driver a few weeks back who had a Mack and he said he wouldn't trade it for the world. At first he didn't think he would like it apparently but he couldn't believe how nice the ride was which is a huge change over the way Mack trucks used to ride (kidney busters)

I haven't seen the CR WS, I will be on the look out for that. There is a building supply company near Horsham PA (near a Walmart route) that runs WesternStars exclusively, sharp looking truck. Sorry my truck-foamer side occasionally makes an appearance.

I drive a 2014 prostar. Yeah, it's a rough ride but I'm the one driving so it's not like I'm loosing any sleep because of it.

The odometer just ticked over 250,000 miles. Been driving it for about 4 months now and have only had an external coolant leak that needed to get repaired. No leaks or electrical issues.

Most people prefer the Cascadias over International. Seems like the ones who take an International do so for the compartment space above your head.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

No matter what you drive they all have their quirks. I have drove a 2012 Prostar. I loved the layout. Ok ride, but had a maxforce that was total junk at 280k. I drove a 2013 cascadia rode decent but had dpf issues that even freightliner could not fix properly. And the emmission warranty runs out at 200k. I am currently driving a 2009 Mack. First aitomatic truck I have ever drove. Personally I hate automatics. It is fairly comfy but their ride isn't great either. In the end every driver is different and what one likes the next may not. For a very short time I drove a 2015 lonestar and I loved it as a complete package. just my experiences
