And my friend has worked for Schneider for 8+ years... I'll just leave it at that.

Must be making good money if he/she is still there that long.

But anyhoo. Schneider is one of the most respected companies out there, from the many non Orange drivers I talk to, and the various Orange drivers I have spoken with. Fast truck, or Slow truck won't matter to me. Safely operating one, does. You drive team, so my hats off to you, I don't think I could do it, being a rather solitary person.

Stay safe

This is how I did it and I love driving these big orange trailers around.

I hate it when I see one on the two-laned roads.... I know I'm going to fly by, but must patiently wait for a slot so I can change lanes to pass. :p

How can you stand being governed so low at speed?! Can't make any money....... OR get anywhere!

How can I stand it? Easy; 1. The two lane roads I normally have to use have speeds well below the governed 60mph so that's not an issue.

2. Somehow I'm still able to average 10,000 miles a month, and safely. Ergo, I have made my $.02/mile bonus each quarter since I began. That's about $600/quarter.

So I am getting somewhere AND making money.
