Daniel are you looking for a student right away or did I read in another post you were going to go solo for a little while first? That being said I will not be there on those dates was just interested to know your game plan. Would love to be able to pick your brain sometime in the future to gain some knowledge.

My plan is to go solo for a little bit first, but that doesn't mean I won't go to the Campus Inn and browse the prospects.

Will train in either January or February.

And if you want to pick my brain (you won't find much) send me a private message and we'll talk.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I asked because the original post didn't specify which one!

Daniel works for Prime which has its headquarters in Springfield, MO. I think Daniel was directing this post mainly to other Prime drivers that may be in the area. It was just inferred that he was referring to Prime's Springfield.

How many Springfield there is in the US? lol

Fun Fact:

According to the U.S. Geological Survey there are currently 34 populated places in 25 states named Springfield throughout the United States, including five in Wisconsin. Additionally, there are at least 36 Springfield Townships, including 11 in Ohio.

Weird. Didn't think you could have the same name for a town more than once in each state.

I agree, RV: It is weird. The confusion reigns in Pennsylvania for the driver who attempts to go to Derry, PA (in the western part of PA) for a delivery that needs to be made in Derry Township, PA (better known as Hershey). Oops.

Will be in Springfield on Christmas day. My student will be upgrading on Christmas. What a nice present for him...

That is a nice Christmas Present, Daniel.

Congrats to the student for the achievement and to you for being there to help the student. I hope the experience was rewarding for you both.
