I just checked your profile and I now understand why you think that's reasonable. CT. enough said. When I used to do health care travel contracts when looking for a sitter for my kids in that area, a woman actually wanted $800/week to watch them while I worked. Needless to say I didn't hire her and found a wonderful grandmother of a coworker willing to do it for $150/week. They weren't infants and I worked nights so they slept during my work hours of 11-7.

I'd still find something else or have them prorate that and only pay for days you're home. THAT would be reasonable.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
