I checked five state cdl manuals and all say over 400 feet. At 45 mph is over 300. Instead of 55 the question should be for 45 mph.

Ok, I had a little trouble following that but I do have news. The Feds have updated these specs and most of the state CDL manuals have followed suit but the one we're using hasn't. So I'm in the process of updating the High Road to reflect the new numbers. I should be finished updating it sometime tomorrow.
