I'm not that cruel. Tarps are all slimmy and dirty. At least if I strap him to the catwalk, he can enjoy the scorching sun, get a shower with fresh rain water (and a drink) and maybe cool off with a little snow flurries. Sounds like the best time out spot to me.

As for the two people on the bunk my wife just spent three weeks riding with me. We have a California king size bed at home. Me, I'm 6'1", 275lbs. My wife is nearly a foot shorter and much smaller. I can sleep on a tree branch as far as room. She somehow manages to take up the entire bed at home. Having said that she was ok with us sharing the bottom bunk for the most part. But by the end she was ready to have her big bed back.

RebelliousVamp considers options:

If I don't really like the other person, is there a space to bungee cord him behind the tractor? Down on the catwalk?

Daniel B posted photos of his bicycle strapped right behind the cab. And it was OK with his company. I'm not trying to give you any ideas, though.

I think DOT requires you to use tie down straps... the heavy duty industrial ones flatbedders use... we wouldn't want that person to escape and hurt themselves no would we? rofl-3.gifrofl-1.gifrofl-2.gif

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Certainly not. Toght and secure. Going nowhere. And a roll of duct tape is good also....I have a saying....silence is golden, duct tape is silver.
