Got an email from the recruiter at Knight, I will be starting orientation on September 3rd. Have my permit already so first week should mostly be company paperwork, safety videos, and other new hire stuff. Week 2 should be the fun stuff, playing with the trucks and learning how to do it all right.

Anyone been through Knight's training recently care to share any insight or suggestions? Looking forward to the next few weeks!

Congrats! Lots of us getting started right after Labor Day. I'll be down in Springfield, MO with Prime, and I think there will be someone else with me. Can't wait!

Star, Yep, finally got to that point..**** just got REAL..I had actually written a book based on all my research on ladies here on TT...I was gonna call it just that.."All the stuff men understand about women", but my publisher didn't think a book with one blank page would sell too well..rofl-2.gif

I feel like the guy(no pun intendedshocked.png ) who's been sitting on the sidelines just waiting for the chance to get called into the big game..now I have, I have to tell ya...I'm sorta nervous...nah, that's a lie...I'm as nervous as a dynamite driver on a bumpy road...I don't wanna screw this up...and you can be sure, that I Will definitely keep in touch with the TT Family..

I got a call yesterday from my recruiter with swift and I leave for Memphis September 28th to start the 30th. I'm excited and thanks to TT my confidence is high that I have picked the right company for me and that I will enjoy the over the road life....my girlfriend didn't feel the same way and we called it off...but one less thing to worry about...when you finish that book about women I'd love to buy the first copy, I'm convinced they are all crazy or maybe I just haven't found the right one. I look forward to seeing y'all on the road.

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

You know it's very tough to find one who will put up with this career. It's no surprise that your ex called it off. I'm 21 and married but thankfully I did find the perfect one and she's good at being a truckers wife. But honestly you have so much to worry about and so much on your mind and that's one big thing off your mind. So it's not exactly a bad thing, just makes life easier, but a little more lonely.

And Starcar, your opinion of Decou is hilarious haha. I think we'll need more than just the Ladies of a trucking to write a book on women though.

If there was going to be a book written about women....a woman would have to write it !!!! But we don't like divulging our secrets..sorry.gif so don't hold your breath....now understanding men ?? thats easy....the only difference between men and boys, is bigger boys and bigger toys !!!rofl-3.gif ...Cook, and they will come.rofl-1.gif ... See how easy that was ??? I really don't find guys that mysterious...I do kn ow that above all things, they seriously hate DRAMA..and I don't blame them. But the women today...its all about drama...wtf.gif
