So tomorrow I am heading back to Prime.

I am driving my personal car out so that when I complete orientation I will have all my stuff with me.

Ernie nice talking with you today. Dropped at the 90 today and looks as if I might be stopping at the terminal for a quick refuel and grub on Sunday. Load assignment Vermont to Vegas so if I have some time I'll drop in.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Cool, call me when you are getting close so we can make arrangements to meet if our schedules make that possible.

I have a question! Does the school provide the students a road atlas or should I go ahead and buy myself one on Amazon?

No, Prime does not provide you an atlas. If you are going to get one, make sure you get the latest one (2016). I personally have 2 on the truck with me. A regular print and a large print (for us old dudes that can't see). But really, the main reason for the large print is because it does show better detail (routes that are not included on the regular print map).

Made it here to Springfield.

Have all my required paperwork completed, ready for tomorrow morning.

Bored out of my mind already. I was hoping to be able to start on the required Computer Based Training (CBT) modules, but have to wait until after the first meeting @ 0700 in the morning.

Look forward to reading about your adventures Ernie. Happy for you to be back in the truck after experiencing a comeback from health issues. Very cool.
