I just upgraded to solo last month. I was told about the condo wait... they had some the next day and didn't charge me rhe room. If it is the wait that is bothering you... don't let that hold u back.... plus.. u wouldn't pay the room up frobt.. they would just take it from your pay.

Just curious, was it a "used" truck? I'm getting an idea about what is going to happen when I finally go solo, and just wanted to see if I am correct.

Do you get a truck that has been used, and the driver has either left or upgraded? (I wouldn't think they buy a new truck for everyone who just finished their training)

It appears to be "luck of the draw". I've heard tell of newly upgraded drivers ending up in brand new units - but not all that often.

It all depends on what is available at the time you are being assigned your own truck after training.
