Good morning TT. Can you good people provide names of food grade tank companies besides the ones on this list please? Preferably that hire out of Florida. I can't find anymore...

You're right. I know about them and forgot to list them. Thank you. If I don't do food grade grade, I'm also looking into fuel hauling. My experience is in food grade tanker and flatbed. I haven't seen anyone here talk about fuel hauling or companies.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Well I am finding some difficulty getting back into the industry since I have been out since 2013. There are some companies that can't bring me on due to not being able to be covered by the insurance company since I haven't driven in the last year. So I will have less companies to try for. I'm hoping Carry Transit will bring me on. I may hear something within the next couple of weeks. They want to bring someone on by the first of April. If Melton brings me on I would have to go out with a trainer for two weeks, no big deal, wouldn't hurt. Cypress wants me to go through their refresher and then be obligated for 12 months. Indian River said no because I don't have the year of driving in the last three. My choices are already limited because I live in the sunshine state, but it'll work out one way or the other. Just keeping you good folks updated, and hoping to make some friends as well. Life is all about relationships.
