I got everything I guess I'll need for Schneider National orientation and otr and back in class. I'm leaving to the hotel tomorrow and go by terminal and introduce myself to the two orientation people at least I'm gonna try. Anybody have any suggestions about food to take driving second week? I was just gonna get Vienna sausages and other canned stuff. Tonight I'm eating S.O.S. my favorite. Can't eat that in the truck at least until I get my own. Yall stand by me next week I will keep yall updated on the progress.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

While you're with your trainer you should follow their lead. Remember, that's his home. Maybe he doesn't want Vienna sausages in it. I ate a lot of subway and an apple a day. It's only temporary. Then when you get your own keys you can really set up a kitchen.

I personally love PB&J and the flavored tuna packs. Ranch and lemon pepper are my faves! You can also find flavored canned chicken. Most truck stops have microwaves so the shelf stable microwave meals are good. Pace and Prego just came out with some really awesome ones. Look for them near the easy mac and take a.
