Do you prefer metallic light blue or white with a lightening bolt on the side?

Bill as a first year driver your pay, freight type, and home time are all basically the same. Your first year is basically a paid apprenticeship.

Werner and Swift are very similar companies, Swift being the larger of the two. Both are well represented on this forum.

Not sure if you have looked at this but they are both reviewed extensively. Trucking Company Reviews

Werner trucks go faster! Ok maybe only by a little but they do! Lol.

Other than that and the truck colors (Werner also has white, black, and dark blue in addition to the light blue) you will probably find that any differences between any two mega carriers are pretty nominal.

I can't really say much about swift as I have never worked for them, but if you have any Werner specific questions feel free to ask me.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
