Want do you make of these?
Attack of the Traffic Cones
We call the taller skinny ones candle sticks. Well with America having it's birthday yesterday someone blew out a bunch of the candles.
On a side note, if you hit them just right the candle stick will pop out of the base and shoot across the street. Don't ask how I know.... LOL
Want do you make of these?
Oh no! They've got armies? Pat M. You'd best be careful, looks like they're fighting back!
Don't pick up this hitchhiker.
They also have pets....

So, we're driving down yet another highway a couple days ago, and being a couple that loves to laugh, we make funnies as we drive along. Normal, right? Sure lol.
But are 'free range cones'? Or pylon patches?
There's construction everywhere...and we've discovered where all those pylons come from: they're growing the dang things! If you watch very carefully, you'll catch a peek of a nest hiding in the bushes at the side of the highway. As they grow up they leave the nest and you'll see them exercise their independence as they stretch further further away from the nest. Some decide they prefer solitude, and they can be seen scattered around the countryside.
Unfortunately, some of these ' free range cones' just can't take the heat and as we got closer to Laredo we saw more and more of them lying on the side of the road and in ditches, dying from heat exhaustion, or trampled by one of the many round legged beasts that whiz by in the night.
Please be careful TT members and be aware of your surroundings. The life you save might one day be your cone's!!
