I should be sleeping, but my nerves are having a field day.

I worked on that alley docking until I got it well enough to feel like I can do it if asked to during the test. I have all the other backing maneuvers down well enough. I know my pre-trip. I drive well enough to pass. I'm just SO nervous now.

Please say a little prayer, cross your fingers/toes, light a candle, dance naked under the moon....whatever it is you do to send good luck someone's way. Anything would be appreciated. <3 <3 <3

For good luck i usually cut a chickens head off and stuff but it's 1am and i don't want to be chasing the chicken at this time (neighbors gonna think am weirder) but if you want tommorow morning i'll cut 7 chicken heads off just for you, but i still i copied a motivational quote just for you

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! I'm always gonna love you, no matter what. No matter what happens. You're my son and you're my blood. You're the best thing in my life. But until you start believing in yourself, you ain't gonna have a life.” ― Sylvester Stallone

You will be just fine! No one expects you to drive like a PRO to pass your CDL exam.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
