I hadn't thought of that. granted, all the components are bolted into the computer, but still, a lot of vibration wouldn't be good for the internal components.
There are many ways to reduce the vibration problems associated with a computer in the vehicle. It is also much easier if the PC is going to be shut off while moving. From vibration insulating pads to soft loctite on all the nuts/bolts and screws. It is usually too much of a hassle for the average user but an enthusiast who enjoys this tech play can easily make do. Assuming I get that far I fully intend to have my PC on the road with me. I'm sure I will encounter problems I have not anticipated but I will learn from them as well.

It doesn't look like anyone has touched on how shaky a ride in a tractor can be. Even if you work for a company that allows sufficient inverters, you have to worry about parts coming loose all the time as you rumble down the road. In my mind a laptop with a solid state drive is the way to go.
OOS:
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
