Brett. That probably made my day lol. I'll keep that in mind if I ever end up that way.
Yup! One rule of Jersey City: Don't trust the cops. They just want to get to the donut shop before opening so that they can avoid the lines
And I am sure construction is a pain... last summer they were repaving my tiny residential street... there were no cops, and whenever somebody came, they would have to have the whole line of like 15 trucks (who knows why they needed that many, but they would unload, go get more asphalt, and came back in line.) back up to let them through XD In that American Truck Simulator game I play to practice, It's always a pain to do construction... Every construction in that game is the same. It is on a 2 lane road, they close 1 lane and have one of those tiny portable traffic lights. No cops. Tiny space for parking. And traffic has absolutely no regard for me trying to back up... the second I get my truck a centimeter off the road they take off XD And then when I try to pull out again it isn't happening XD I actually think I might like a job like that... having the traffic stop just so you can back in... Hard to do, but would be a fun challenge... does anyone know if there is a such thing as an OTR Construction driver? :)
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
