I'm about to graduate for from sage truck driving school and was looking into Melton Truck Lines. Anybody a current or former driver? I'm just curious if it's a good company or is the flyer all hype. Any feedback is appreciated.

All of the major companies have solid equipment and all the miles you could ever dream of for their top tier drivers. Look for a company that fits your preferences for the type of freight you'd like to haul, the regions of the country you'd like to run, and the amount of home time you'd like to have. Once you narrow down your list to the companies that seem like a good fit then dig deeper through the pay, benefits, and other perks they may have and pick the best one.

I wouldn't worry too much about people's opinions of companies. This is a performance based industry. Those who perform well are generally happy and well taken care of. Those who don't usually get poor miles and aren't happy with the treatment they're getting. So a person's opinion of a company is more often than not a reflection of their own attitude and performance more than it is an accurate assessment of the company.
